The
Farmhouse
Guests are welcome in our home, a two-storey,
125-year-old farmhouse with a wrap-around porch
overlooking a creek, a chicken coop, vegetable
gardens, and orchards. Guests may play the concert
grand piano, borrow books from the libraries,
play badminton, and help harvest herbs, fruit,
and vegetables from the gardens.
What
to Expect
Guests will experience the hustle and bustle of
life on a working farm, as well as the relaxed
atmosphere we strive to create. Each comfortable
guest room is private and most have reading chairs
and desks. There are many sitting areas around
the farmhouse and yard to rest and have conversation
(including hammocks by the creek). Maverick Farms
hosts monthly farm dinners, and guests may want
to coordinate their visit with one of our meals.
One of the farm members, Sara Safransky, is a
certified yoga instructor, and offers private
yoga classes geared to any level.
